DESIGNING FOR EFFICIENCY IS AN ART

ECODESIGN
The European Ecodesign Directive covers all individual pellet and wood-burning stoves and boilers. The regulation states that these types of products may only be introduced onto the market if they follow certain energy efficiency requirements and emission limit values. Sustainability and environmental protection have always been key aspects of Amg’s corporate philosophy. For this reason, many models already meet the minimum efficiency and emission requirements set by Ecodesign.

Amg has already started working on the design according to the parameters set by the European Union for Ecodesign 2020 and 2022. The European Union will only accept boilers from 2020 and stoves, heating stoves and fireplace inserts from 2022 if they comply with the new ECODESIGN regulation. This standard will require greater energy efficiency and lower CO emissions into the atmosphere.
